Statement

I have learned, particularly since 2017, that integrity is more important than ever. We have nothing if we don’t have integrity and morals on which to stand. I am never afraid to stand up for what I know is right, even if I walk away from opportunities and people I thought were friends.

Yesterday, I resigned from a museum’s foundation. This museum has meant much to me since I first walked through its doors 35 years ago. I am disappointed in the outcome, considering how much time and treasure I have given the organization. However, after several late conversations, I do not regret my decision. These conversations only reinforced what I have known for several months.

I wish the organization nothing but success in the future, and I hope they find their North Star.
