The problem with the mainstream media

The problem with the mainstream media is that they think because someone in their organization bought a printing press 150 or whatever years ago, they are still relevant.

Every industry has to evolve with the times and technology. The media, for whatever reason, thinks it’s immune to the need to change. Fewer than ever care about their printing press. And news and information? No one has a monopoly on that. No one ever has had a monopoly on that.

The difference is that years ago, most people didn’t own or have access to a printing press. Today, it’s a different landscape. Someone should tell the mainstream media.
