I’ve been inundated with speaking requests since I opted to depart the Southern Museum’s board. I’m appreciative of the many organizations that have reached out to me.
However, I don’t have an off-the-shelf presentation since I tailor every talk I give — even if each presentation takes hours.
I wrote a book for the Western & Atlantic Bus Tour I led in 2022 for the Southern Museum. I’m not even joking. To be kind, I sold it at cost so the participants could take something extra home at not much cost.
Even if the Southern Museum didn’t always appreciate my efforts and the hours it took to put together a presentation, that doesn’t mean we can’t have some fun. They might have canceled my talks there this year, but they didn’t cancel fun.
That’s why I’ve decided to rebrand the series of talks I’m giving the rest of the year. Join me at one. Or else, I may have to cancel our friendship!
