Todd DeFeo, founder of The DeFeo Groupe, joins Friends of the Smyrna Library Board

SMYRNA, Georgia — The Friends of the Smyrna Library has added Todd DeFeo, founder of The DeFeo Groupe and publisher of Railfanning.org, to its Board of Directors.

DeFeo brings more than two decades of experience in journalism, publishing and strategic communications. As the founder of The DeFeo Groupe, he has demonstrated a commitment to storytelling and to fostering meaningful community connections.

His extensive experience in media and communications, coupled with his passion for the Smyrna community, will help advance the mission of the Friends of the Smyrna Library, which supports the Smyrna Public Library through fundraising, advocacy, and volunteer efforts.

“Libraries play crucial roles in our communities, serving as hubs for learning, inspiration and connection,” DeFeo said. “I’ve had the privilege of presenting at the library several times, and I look forward to working with the board  to support the library’s initiatives and help it continue to thrive as a vital resource for Smyrna residents.”

As a board member, DeFeo will help promote literacy initiatives, expand library programs and enhance the overall user experience at the Smyrna Public Library.
