“We’re Living in a Tabloid World” is a song written by Todd DeFeo.
A rough sketch of the song was recorded in May 1997. A January 1998 copyright demo of the song was released in 1999 on the album Running Home. That version was a featured song on the MP3.com Political Humor page and peaked at number 2 on the Political Humor charts.
A live version was released on A Guy Walks Into a Train Museum in December 2020. In October 2024, a remixed version of the January 1998 copyright demo was the b-side to the “Looking for a Bailout” single.
