DeFeo selected to present at Denison’s ReMix, the Entrepreneurship Summit

GRANVILLE, Ohio — Denison University has selected Todd DeFeo, founder of The DeFeo Groupe, to speak at ReMix, the Denison Entrepreneurship Summit, this September.

DeFeo will present “From the deepest valley to the highest mountain.”

“People often say there is no guidebook for life. Anyone who has encountered a tragedy knows that is correct,” DeFeo said. “So, how can you take a tragic situation and turn it into valuable lessons that will help guide you through life? What lessons can leaders take away from adversity? Success is best measured by the lessons you learn and how you apply them to better yourself and the world at large.”

As President Richard Nixon once said, “Defeat doesn’t finish a man, quit does. A man is not finished when he’s defeated. He’s finished when he quits.” Find inspiration in the deepest valleys to guide you to the highest mountaintops of success.

DeFeo, the editor of Railfanning.org and Sightseers’ Delight, is a graduate of Denison University, where he majored in history. He is publishing a pair of books this year, one on the Western & Atlantic Railroad and the other on the Memphis, Clarksville & Louisville railroad.
