I am excited to be here today. I have a brief presentation on the “Pivotal Moments of the Northeast Corridor.” I like to make these presentations fun. After all, we’re talking about railroads.
As I pulled this presentation together, I struggled to find a picture for the cover slide. It seems like a simple enough task. But think about it for a moment. What is the one picture that sums up the Northeast Corridor?
If you asked a dozen people to choose a single picture to sum up the Northeast Corridor, you might receive a dozen different pictures. That’s because the Northeast Corridor means something different to different people.
