When a business association in Atlanta’s Buckhead community wanted to increase its visibility, they turned to The DeFeo Groupe. We proposed, planned and executed a survey of opinions about a then-possible expansion of streetcars into the community.

The survey, open to anyone who lived, worked or played in Buckhead, was designed to provide the BBA and Buckhead business leaders with a broad overview of the community’s thoughts. To drive additional interest, we tapped into broader discussions at the legislative level.

The reason for the survey was multi-faceted. One aspect was the association had minimal news it could promote. The survey gave them a topic they could own.

The results exceed the association’s expectations, earning coverage in not only local publications but national headlines.
